What is a tolerance ring?

What sort of torque is needed?

See the data for the sizes of the mating parts. If the torque stated goes too high the tolerance ring will slip - which can be a way of preventing damage.

Work in engineering?

Modern techniques, such as, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Cellular Manufacture and Teamworking can all be introduced to your company. This introduction can be classroom based, on the job or a combination of both. Cost reduction exercise and Manufacturing Improvement projects can also be carried out.

Engineering Manufacturing Systems

The implementation of a production control system, linked to purchasing and sales orders can have a dramatic impact on your business.

Such systems can be installed for less than many people think and will help you to optimise your stock holdings, control works orders and provide management information to help you work smarter, not harder.

We have installed systems in small companies and multi-million pound manufacturers with a wide range of budgets.

Often companies have several legacy systems – we can help you to integrate them into a single system.
